I have no words to express how heart breaking this book is.....maybe after I stop crying, and sobbing, I'll be able to come up with a few words to do this book justice. But for now....all I want to do is cry....*EDIT* 4/19/2011Intense, Raw, Unpreddictable. Not everyone should read this book. It deals with a very strong and Tabbo topic, but I love to push my self to reading "out there' books, and this one is going straight to my All time Favs shelf!I was moved to tears by the middle of the book and twice after that. By the lat 2 or 3 chapters I was sobbing and did not stop for a while after finishing the book. This is one of those books that will stay with you for days (if not weeks!). The writter is so brave for approaching such an intense topic, and most of all, she's brilliant because she made me sympathize with something I never thought possible. The ending was so heartbreaking. I knew it could not end well, as much as I wanted the protagonists to find a way to be together, I KNEW I was asking for too much. But I didn't think it was gonna end the way it did. Maya and Loch will have a piece of my heart reserved for them, for the rest of my life, and Ms. Suzuma, I can only praise your mind and strength. From the bottom of my heart....Thank you.
