I Am Carina And I Speak For The Books!

I am Carina, and I speak for the books! I read books because I love to and I write reviews because I need to place my thoughts in "paper". My reviews are honest. Usually not mean, but I can't make promises. Even when I don't like a book, I try to be as nice as possible. And when I love a book, I'm not going to lie, there might be some Fan Girling and Gushing.

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare Too overwhelmed with the awesomness of this book.I need to gather my though to give this book a good review, Im also debating a 4 or a 5 star rating.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This book was a great read! The story, the plot twist, the chareacters and the ending. Wow what an ending!Tessa is a great heroine, I believe I love her more that I loved Clary in the first books of MI.She's strong, driven, passionate and dedicated. Now to what exactly she is, that's still a mistery (to be discovered in the next books). Now to the super humongous question. Will or Jem?Well its not that simple.......ok I lied, its Will.Yes I know he was an (pardon my french) ass, and he's rude, and brutally honest. But come on, you'd have to be blind to not see the great guy hidding underneath the hard exterior. We need to find out what happened to him when he was 12 years old to want to keep everyone at a distance. And we also need to find out who Cecile is!Now to Jem, everyone of my friends in Goodreads is Team Jem,so I asked one of my friends (Britnee) if_she belives Jem has a REAL chance with Tessa, she said yes. Well I'm sorry but I think not. Unless Ms. Clare is one of the exceptions in the YA writting community, it is OBVIOUS that Tessa's love interest is Will.Jem is a great guy. Sweet, caring, noble, handsome, etc. But I think what is really drawing masses to him is his sickness. I understand that we feel bad for him, but thats not enough to push Tessa in his directon when she is interested in Will. Unless Jem wins Tessa over in Clockwork Prince, I dont think they work together. The setting was outstanding. I have a very clear picture of the old London where the Institute is set. I could even Imagine the semi-permanent glom and fog of the summers there. The overall of this book is great. Ms. Clare's writting is amazing and now I can hardly wait for the next installment.4.5 to 5 stars
