I Am Carina And I Speak For The Books!

I am Carina, and I speak for the books! I read books because I love to and I write reviews because I need to place my thoughts in "paper". My reviews are honest. Usually not mean, but I can't make promises. Even when I don't like a book, I try to be as nice as possible. And when I love a book, I'm not going to lie, there might be some Fan Girling and Gushing.

This Same Earth (Volume 2)
Elizabeth Hunter
Some Girls Bite - Chloe Neill 3.5 starsI was leaning more towards 4 stars(maybe I still am) but the first half of the book was somewhat slow(NOT BORING) and a little dragged out(JUST A LITTLE).So Meredith has been turned into a vampire in order to save her life after she was attacked by a rogue vampire. Now she has to join the Cadogan House, one of the 3 Vamp houses in Chicago, since her maker is the Master of said house. Ethan, Mer's maker, is super hot and sexy, but a total ass. I do like him....well right now I have a love/hate feeling towards him. He is so overconfident that he expects Meridith to fall on her back and spread her legs as soon as she lays eyes on him. Thankfully that did not happen. One of the reasons I respect Meredith.Although its obvious that Mersdith is sooo into him and that they will probably end up together, that does not excuse his actions or his attitude. The book got alot better once you hit the half point mark. Meredith comes to terms with her new excistence and starts training and researching her new life. There is another sexy hunk of meat, that has a cute sense of humor, and hot fashion sense love prospect for Meredith. Mer isn't interested, until she is "forced" to allow him, Morgan, to court her. Thanks alot EthanThis book has a sort of steady pace through out the whole book, and the climax wasn't too big and it doesn't really keep you on the edge of your seat. BUT, there is something about it that grabs your attention and keeps you wondering, "What's gonna happen next?"If I wasn't determined to start other different series that are waiting for me on my Kindle, I would definetly read this series back to back. It feels very promesing, and it feels like its only gonna get better and better. I already have the second book, Friday Night Bites, ready on my Kindle to start reading as soon as I have a chance.
