I Am Carina And I Speak For The Books!

The whole controversy surrounding this book and its author is...sad really. I still love this book, but something feels different now. Its no longer pure. Its been taited. ='(Edit, 3/15/12Due to the current controversy surrounding this book, I feel compelled to explain something.I went through a rough relationship that included a possesive, agressive, violent person. And as I read this book, I was reminded of my ex by Travis, and until I finished the book I believed I was gonna give this book a lower rating because of that fact. Well one of the reasons I love to read Fiction, is because I KNOW the story and characters are not real. No, that does not make someone idolizing to be with someone like Travis in real life ok. But since I am aware of this, I decided to rate this book purely on entertainment. The book was a dramafest and it kept me engaged in reading it until the end. Now I believe everyone has a right to their own opinions as long as its done in a respectful manner towards the other person, we should be able to speak our minds. Otherwise, its probably best to stay out of major websites where we're just making things bigger and uglyer than they already are. "El Respeto Al Derecho Ajeno, Es La Paz."
